Job Description- Senior Staff Accountant

Our client, E.J. Callahan & Associates is seeking the next great addition to their team! We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their Audit Team.  

We are actively assisting them in the pre-screening, interview coordination, and rest of the hiring process for this position.

Responsibilities:

As part of their Audit Team, the Senior Staff Accountant's responsibilities would include:

• Perform and help manage client audits, reviews, and compilations across a range of industries.

• Prepare, analyze, and communicate financial statements and management reporting.

• Work directly with the tax team to prepare tax filings and communicate effective tax planning strategies.

• Assist with team coordination of engagement planning, fieldwork, and close meetings.

• Work directly with clients in response to inquiries and develop strong relationships with client personnel.

• Mentor and direct multiple staff members depending on experience level
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA or CPA in progress.

• 2-5 years of experience in public accounting.

• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership qualities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and project
  management skills.

• Knowledge of CCH Axcess and ProSystem FX preferred
  but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
